Re City Development Grant Income Database

Grantmanager will be a very useful tool in meeting a number of needs associated with the 'business' of grant income funding - from the bid stage through approval to the making of final claims and subsequent guarantee arrangements. Its usefulness is enhanced in a Directorate with already well over 100 live grants, and given the ongoing financial stringency within Local Government this number is set to increase.

There are 4 main areas to which it will be a major contributor: -

1) Day to day management of the Grant Income process - e.g. When claims are due, whether a claim has been received.

2) Tied in with this - ensuring compliance with Audit/Financial Regulation requirements.

3) Recording match funding/leverage information - a major factor in justifying grant for some grant regimes.

4) Provision of management information - e.g. Grants approved by financial year, Grants by geographical area, Guarantee information.
